Family sessions include maternity, newborn and any ages of your growing family
I photograph my family sessions with a lifestyle approach, meaning less posed and more personality. I want to capture your family as you are — have it be silly or serious faces and the personalities of everyone at these quickly changing ages of childhood. I’ll make sure we get a few photos of everyone looking at the camera, but otherwise I want you and the kid(dos) to be interacting with each other and doing less looking straight at me with those forced “cheeeeese” smiles.
I started my photography business with family sessions so they have a soft spot and I will always enjoy photographing your growing family! Especially now that I have a baby, I really want to encourage everyone to have family photos taken. In the age of cellphones and selfies, I know it’s easy to think you have enough photos — but it’ll be very special to have professional images as well. And we have to make sure whomever is the family photographer taking those phone photos is in photos as well!
Family sessions start at $600
We’ll figure out the best location and timing that works for your family. You’ll receive your edited high-resolution images in an online gallery with full access, meaning you can print, share and download your images.
For maternity sessions, I suggest planning for your session when you’re still feeling great! This is typically between weeks 28-34, but is also so dependent on each person. I want you to have belly photos, but also don’t want you to be so uncomfortable so consider this when planning your session. Reach out if you have any questions or want to discuss timing!
